Kamagra (Sildenafil Citrate Tablets)

Effective Treatment for Erectile Dysfunction

Kamagra tablets contain Sildenafil Citrate and are indicated for the treatment of erectile dysfunction (ED) in adult men. ED is the inability to achieve or maintain a penile erection sufficient for satisfactory sexual performance. For Kamagra to be effective, sexual stimulation is required.

Available Strengths

• Kamagra 50 mg – Each film-coated tablet contains Sildenafil Citrate equivalent to 50 mg Sildenafil.
• Kamagra 100 mg – Each film-coated tablet contains Sildenafil Citrate equivalent to 100 mg Sildenafil.

Appearance Green-coloured, diamond-shaped film-coated tablets:

• Kamagra 50 mg: engraved with ‘ap’ logo on one side and ‘KGR 50’ on the other.
• Kamagra 100 mg: engraved with ‘ap’ logo on one side and ‘KGR 100’ on the other.

How Kamagra Works Sildenafil is a potent and selective inhibitor of PDE5 (phosphodiesterase type 5) in the corpus cavernosum. It enhances the natural erectile response to sexual stimulation by increasing blood flow to the penis through the nitric oxide/cGMP pathway.

Recommended Dosage & Administration

• The recommended starting dose is 50 mg taken as needed, approximately one hour before sexual activity.
• Depending on efficacy and tolerability, the dose may be increased to 100 mg or decreased to 25 mg.
• Maximum recommended dose: 100 mg per day.
• Maximum dosing frequency: Once per day.
• Kamagra can be taken with or without food (food may slightly delay the onset of action).

Special Dosage Instructions

• No dose adjustment is required for elderly patients (≥ 65 years).
• Dose adjustments may be necessary for patients with severe renal impairment or hepatic impairment.
• A starting dose of 25 mg should be considered when used with certain medications (e.g., CYP3A4 inhibitors or alpha-blockers).

Important Safety Information Contraindications:

• Hypersensitivity to sildenafil or any excipients.
• Concomitant use with nitrates or nitric oxide donors (e.g., amyl nitrite).
• Concomitant use with guanylate cyclase stimulators such as riociguat.
• Patients for whom sexual activity is inadvisable (e.g., severe cardiovascular disorders).
• History of non-arteritic anterior ischaemic optic neuropathy (NAION).
• Severe hepatic impairment, hypotension, recent stroke or myocardial infarction, or known hereditary degenerative retinal disorders.

Precautions: A medical history and physical examination should be undertaken before starting treatment. Kamagra has mild vasodilatory properties and may cause temporary decreases in blood pressure. Use with caution in patients with anatomical deformation of the penis, predisposition to priapism, or those taking alpha-blockers.

Common Side Effects The most frequently reported side effects include:

• Headache, flushing, dyspepsia, nasal congestion, dizziness, nausea.
• Visual disturbances (blurred vision, cyanopsia, photophobia).
