Ozempic Generika 4 mg

Product Description
Ozempic Generika 4 mg is a generic version of Ozempic containing Semaglutide, a GLP-1 receptor agonist. It is used to treat type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults and is also widely used for long-term weight management. It helps control blood sugar levels, reduces appetite, and slows gastric emptying.
Important: This is a pre-filled injection pen intended for subcutaneous (under the skin) use only.
Dosage and Administration
Strength: 4 mg Semaglutide per pen (0.75 ml solution)
Recommended Dosing Schedule:
- Starting dose: Usually 0.25 mg once weekly for the first 4 weeks
- Maintenance dose: 0.5 mg once weekly (after 4 weeks)
- Higher dose: 1 mg once weekly (if needed)
- Maximum dose: Up to 2 mg once weekly (only as prescribed by doctor)
The 4 mg pen is typically used for higher-dose maintenance therapy (usually 1 mg or 2 mg doses).
How to Use:
- Inject once per week on the same day each week.
- Can be taken at any time of day, with or without food.
- Inject under the skin (subcutaneously) in the abdomen, thigh, or upper arm.
- Rotate injection sites each week.
- Do not mix with insulin in the same injection.
Important Information
Do NOT use Ozempic Generika if you:
- Have a personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC)
- Have Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia syndrome type 2 (MEN 2)
- Are allergic to semaglutide or any of the ingredients
- Are pregnant or planning to become pregnant
- Have Type 1 diabetes or diabetic ketoacidosis
Warnings and Precautions
- This medicine can cause serious side effects including pancreatitis, gallbladder problems, and kidney issues.
- Common side effects include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, and stomach pain (especially when starting treatment).
- Report any severe abdominal pain, persistent vomiting, or signs of thyroid tumors (lump in neck, hoarseness, difficulty swallowing).
- Inform your doctor if you are taking insulin or other diabetes medicines, as the dose may need to be adjusted to prevent low blood sugar (hypoglycemia).
Storage
- Store in the refrigerator (2°C – 8°C). Do not freeze.
- After first use, the pen can be kept at room temperature (below 30°C) for up to 6 weeks.
- Keep the pen cap on to protect from light.
- Keep out of reach of children.
Important Note
Ozempic Generika 4 mg is a prescription-only medicine. It must be used exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Regular blood sugar monitoring and medical check-ups are required during treatment.
This product is for subcutaneous injection only. Never inject into a vein or muscle.
