Product Description
Pregacare 300 mg contains Pregabalin, which belongs to a class of medicines called anticonvulsants. It is used to treat neuropathic (nerve) pain, fibromyalgia, generalized anxiety disorder, and as an add-on therapy for certain types of seizures (epilepsy) in adults. It works by calming overactive nerve signals in the brain and spinal cord.

Dosage and Administration

Recommended Dose:

• The usual dose is one 300 mg capsule per day, divided into 2 or 3 doses.
• Your doctor may start you on a lower dose and gradually increase it to 300 mg per day depending on your condition and response.
• Do not exceed the dose prescribed by your doctor.

How to Take:

• Swallow the capsule whole with a glass of water.
• You can take it with or without food.
• Try to take it at the same times every day to maintain steady levels in your blood.

Important Information

Do NOT take Pregacare 300 mg if you:

• Are allergic to Pregabalin or any of its ingredients
• Have a history of severe allergic reaction (angioedema) to similar medicines

Warnings and Precautions

• Tell your doctor before using if you have kidney problems, heart failure, diabetes, history of drug or alcohol abuse, or depression/suicidal thoughts.
• Pregabalin may cause dizziness, drowsiness, or blurred vision. Do not drive, operate heavy machinery, or do dangerous activities until you know how it affects you.
• Do not stop taking this medicine suddenly. It may cause withdrawal symptoms such as anxiety, insomnia, nausea, headache, or seizures. The dose should be reduced gradually under medical supervision.
• It may increase the risk of weight gain and swelling in the hands and feet.

• Weight gain
• Dry mouth
• Swelling of hands, legs, or feet (edema)
• Difficulty concentrating

Serious Side Effects (seek medical help immediately):

• Severe allergic reaction (rash, itching, swelling of face/lips/tongue, difficulty breathing)
• Suicidal thoughts or behavior
• Severe muscle pain or weakness
• Unusual bleeding or bruising

Storage

• Store below 25°C (77°F) in a cool, dry place
• Keep in the original blister pack
• Protect from moisture
• Keep out of reach of children
