Product Description
Covimectin 12 mg contains Ivermectin, a powerful antiparasitic medication. It is used to treat various parasitic infections in humans, including scabies, strongyloidiasis, river blindness (onchocerciasis), head lice, and other intestinal worm infections. It works by paralyzing and killing the parasites.
Dosage and Administration
Recommended Dose for Adults:
- The usual dose is 12 mg (one tablet) taken as a single dose.
- In some conditions (such as scabies or strongyloidiasis), your doctor may instruct you to repeat the dose after 7–14 days.
How to Take:
- Take the tablet on an empty stomach (at least 1 hour before or 2 hours after a meal) with a full glass of water.
- Do not chew, crush, or break the tablet.
- Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Dosage may vary depending on body weight, type of infection, and severity.
Important Information
Do NOT take Covimectin 12 mg if you:
- Are allergic to Ivermectin or any of the ingredients
- Are pregnant or breastfeeding
- Have liver problems (without doctor’s approval)
- Are under 15 kg in body weight
Warnings and Precautions
